The tour begins with a comfortable drive from Durrës to the capital city, Tirana.
Our first stop is Skanderbeg Square, the heart of Tirana. Here, you’ll be introduced to Albania’s national hero and see key buildings such as the National Historical Museum and the Opera House.
We then continue to visit the Et’hem Bey Mosque, one of the oldest and most beautifully decorated mosques in Albania, representing a significant part of the city’s cultural heritage.
Next, we explore the Tirana Castle area – a charming blend of history and modern life, with stone walls, cafés, and artisan shops. A great place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
From there, we head to the Pyramid of Tirana, a once-controversial communist-era structure now transformed into a creative and youth-oriented space. A short walk around offers insight into the city’s past and its urban transformation.
After exploring the city, we drive toward Dajti Express Cable Car Station, where you’ll enjoy a scenic 15-minute ride up the mountain. From the top, you’ll have free time to explore the natural surroundings, take in panoramic views of Tirana, and relax at the mountain cafés or recreational areas.
At the end of the experience, we return to Durrës.
